In 2008 Interstate Paper Supply Company Inc. was recognized by the Mon Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce as one of the few recycling companies in Pennsylvania in the 1950's. Recycling scrap paper, newspapers and old magazines for the community and businesses from around the area.

Today Ipsco still recycles, but has evolved into a converting and packaging supplier of paper, foam and plastics serving the glass, brick, steel and packaging industries.
